Hmm Indian food...

Well there we will be limited to curries, tandoori, tikka, raita..

As you know, Nordeste iss not spoiled with imported ingredients, actually very poor..

Went one day to a Thai restaurant in Fortaleza, there Thai curry consisted of curry powder, regular cream, frozen vegetables and cubed chicken, served with uncle bens rice loaded with cubed calabreza

The only "Thai" with this place was some of the decoration, unfortunatly..

As I see it, it seems better to stay local here as far of restaurant food. Any attempt to dream of other good ethnic food, I guess one need to go to sao Paulo or Rio, at least.

If there is any future need of culinary help for an event, I would be happy to help out...

I am presently working for major cruise line so I am only here 4 months or so a year, so of course the schedule have to fit in...

I have been running kitchens in US (Florida, SC and Iowa), Scandinavia, Philippines, Bali, Bangkok and was Corporate Chef in Campinas SP at the Royal Palm Plaza resort...Any kind of themed event, European, American, Asian or Brazillian would be ok...

Now, as for myself I much rather call for a pizza or China in the box, hehe....

We have had a few get-togethers here and always at restaurants, last week I saw a great place to have a big party and thought maybe we cold hold our next meeting there but I think it could be a lot of work, so maybe we will stick to restaurants

I need to chat with the other people involved to see what they think, I will be sending out a newsletter soon so I will ask if people want a meeting in November and one for Christmas or just one for Christmas, will you be in Brazil in December?

If we decide to do a party I'll be in contact with you to talk abot what we need to do.
