The new Science, Culture and Arts Centre) designed by Oscar Niemeyer opens it doors on the 3rd of July 2008. In 2005 this projects entitled Estacao ciencia, culture e artes was approved to be built at Ponta do Seixas in Joao Pessoa and is now completed.

Saturday afternoon is a good time to take the kids. There are events such as Origami and Percussion between 2.00 and 5.00. Theres even a band too. all good fun for those who like to participate.
Mind you there is an age restriction; no one older than 105 can take part.
