The get-together on the 29th August at Pontal do Cabo went well, it was a shame that the restaurant didn’t set an area aside for us as promised. People were scattered in different areas at first, but by all accounts the food was great and it was good to see so many long-term residents of Joao Pessoa in attendance.

The Christmas get-together will be held on Sunday 12th of December at Tche bar in Intermares, starting at 1pm.
Tche Bar is located just 200 meters off the BR230 in Intermares and 400 meters from Av Oceano Atlantico (the beach road between Bessa and Cabedelo), the full address is 357 Av Mar Vermelho Intermares Cabedelo and you can view a map here (“A” marks the location of Tche Bar)
We now have two email lists, the newsletter email list and a local email list. The local list is for people who live in Joao Pessoa and Paraiba who want information about small get-together’s such as paintball, Go-karting and information about items for sale etc. If you live in Paraiba and want to be added to the local list, just send us an email with the words “local email list” in the title.
I recently met Tata the owner of a wind-sports shop and someone who takes people paragliding, a great video here.

After Christmas we will arrange a get-together for people who want to go paragliding; I’ll send something out via the local email list.
