Renting out a property.

I have a flat I want to rent and just want to know for how long can I rent it out; is there a minimum and maximum time?

Just make sure you use a good agent, renting property can be a nightmare if you don’t fully understand the system.
We will be adding a section about this on the main site, more than likely under Property | Investment.

You can rent it for a week or 10 years, its up to you.

I have a couple of apartments that I rent out but I do it via an agent as they understand the law and the one I use has indemnity insurance

You can use them and they work well, but if you get a bad tenant how are you going to handle them, the law here is very different to Europe and the USA. Also how are you able to check out the Guarantor and what action would you take against them were your tenants to default?
