About us
This site has been set up to foster links between the growing number of new settlers in Joao Pessoa, Paraiba and the local community. Our aim is to make it a local resource for people living in Joao Pessoa and Paraiba though we feel it could be very useful to people moving or considering a move to the state.
There is a great deal of information available to people on the internet and from government offices. We hope that by bringing all that information together, people will find the answers to most of their questions here, in one place, on this site! In effect, we would become a "one stop shop" for property buyers, investors, visa concerns to general information about life here and what’s going on.There will be sections on where to get things, what professionals are available even a monitored forum where one can chat about day to day things.
We want to increase the accessibility and flexibility of the site by offering the service in various languages. The site will be funded in several ways for example commissions from local estate agents who want to put their properties on the site and from the advertising of businesses such as restaurants, hotels and pousadas. We also want to sell a "GOLD" membership which would allow discounts on members monthly bills such as medical Insurance and from retailers, restaurants etc.
