This beach is between Tambau and Bessa Beach

Manaira beach follows on from Tambau. It is narrower than Tambau and has more houses on its sea front though that side of things is slowly changing as more low rise flats are being built. João Pessoa has a law which prevents high rise properties from being built along its sea front.

There aren’t any beach bars but there are a handful of restaurants and paça bars. Towards the Bessa end of Manaira you will find more trees and grassed areas on the beach.
