How to get there:

From the centre of João Pessoa drive to the end of Ave Epitacio Pessoa at turn right onto Ave Cabo Branco.

Less built up than its brother Tambua, it boasts a very fine beach coastline which includes fine stretches of grass and sand with plenty of coconut trees. The beach bars peter out about half way down. Parking is better too. Its here that many people tend to picnic if in large family groups. Although there are noise abatement laws that doesn’t stop the cars with their big sound boxes blasting out onto the beach.

The beaches themselves cater for many different types of sports; several areas are even laid out for football and volleyball.

The main avenue closes between 5.00am and 8.00am to allow walkers etc to exercise and the area also home to many fine restaurants, bars and beach bars.
