Tourist Information in João Pessoa

The main Tourist Information Centre for João Pessoa is in Tambau Shopping Centre opposite the fish market. It is open from 9.00am to 7.00pm most days and generally has two staff, one of whom can speak English.

It is usually well stocked with informationa about João Pessoa but crucially you should take away the free map and “Whats on ” guide called Cenario Cultural. There is another close by in the Artesanarto shopping parade in front of Tambau Tropical Hotel. Though smaller it is also well stocked and manned. All the others on the map are smaller and are manned intermittently.
