Bairro dos Estados

To the north of Expeditionarios and flanking Epitacio Pessoa, it is home to a military base and for that reason alone many people feel more sucure there. Houses are very large and affordable. Overall it’s a very clean neighbourhood with more than its fair share of trees in gardens and on the street.

Extra (Pao de Açucar) and Hiper bom preço supermarkets are conveniently placed near by. Its closeness to the town centre gives it a distinct advantage.

João Pessoa isn’t a big city so the fact that Bairro dos Estado isn’t close to the beach isn’t so much of a problem. However, some residents say they feel out of touch with what’s going on in other areas.
