This restaurant is located one road back from the main Ave Cabo Branco. There are plenty of signs but don’t be put off if you don’t find it straight away. There isn’t a wide glass frontage rather it hides behind 2.5 metre high walls and you are more likely to notice all the cars parked outside on the main street. Parking is supervised by the restaurant. Rather like opening an oyster, you go through the huge wooden gates to find a beautiful beach villa waiting for you, a pearl amongst pearls.
Tables are set on and around the swimming pool that extends like a moat before a castle in front of the villa. The pool itself is elegantly roped off to prevent inappropriate foot washing before eating. The waiter leads you into the interior of the villa where you can relax in the very welcoming atmosphere. Healthy sized portions complement the ambience and wallet. Like a lot of places there are various menus as well as self service so menu depends on the time of day. When you leave, it feels like you are leaving a good friends house in that your return will always be welcomed.
