NANDO REIS and TONI GARRIDO may need no introduction for many people as they are two of the country’s finest contemporary composers and song writers. Their music has also been recorded by the country’s best artists.
Toni is the ex lead for Cidade Negra and who can forget Nando Reis as one of the founders of Titas. The show starts at 22h on Saturday at Domus Hall, Manaira Shopping, in Joao Pessoa. Tickets cost from R$ 35 to R$ 85 with variations for tables and group bookings.

Stanley Jordan, the American guitarist returns to João Pessoa on the 4 December to close the final edition of the music project Sete em Ponto in Teatro de Arena do Espaço Cultural. The show starts at 19h. The Paraiban guitarist Zé Filho will open the show. Tickets cost R$ 30 (full) e R$ 15 (half).

11º ROTA DO SOL MOTOFEST 20-22 November 2009
The big motorbike party returns to Joao Pessoa. If you have never been then this is definitely one not to miss. Thousands of bikes from all over Brasil. Plenty of live music and film shows (official and unofficial) and plenty of stalls to buy bike gear and bikes. There’s even a Miss Wet T Shirt competition. There are parades of bikes and a bike run out to Cabedelo to see the start of the Tran Amazonian highway. A great spectacular with a general good feeling about. Takes place at the beach end of Epitacio Pessoa at the junction of Tambau and Cabo Branco beaches
